As promised, here are my predictions for this year’s Oscars, held tomorrow night (Sunday24th February)

The minor awards have been dished out and so we now all wait for the big one. The smart money is gunning for Argo this year but with the absence of Ben Affleck as best director, could this be the first year since 1989, when Driving Miss Daisy won best picture without a best director nomination for Bruce Beresford, that a film in the same situation walks away with it? We will see.

Anyway, here are my predictions for the major awards. Who I think will win is in red.
