Once again it’s time to hand over a page to a much more experience critic than I, young Holly Smith (now aged 7). This time she has been to see Postman Pat: The Movie (yes, THAT Postman Pat). Given a new make-over for this animated feature, it’s time to hand over to Holly for her opinion.

This film is about Postman pat who people will know from the TV, it also has his black and white cat (Jess) as well as his friends. It is set in Greendale where Pat lives and part of it is set in London. Greendale is a pretty village with lots of friendly people.

In the film Pat entered a singing competition like the X factor because he wanted to win a holiday for his wife. Everybody loved his singing and he became famous. Mr Carbuncle was an evil man because he replaced Pat with a robots that looked like Pat to make money and everybody lost their job.

People didn’t realise that they were robots (which was silly as the robots eyes were blue and Pat has brown eyes) nobody liked Pat anymore. Mr Carbuncle made lots of robots as well as a Robot of Jess. Then Pat had to save the day. This film is about Postman pat who people will know from the TV, it also has his black and white cat (Jess) as well as his friends. It is set in Greendale where Pat lives and part of it is set in London. Greendale is a pretty village with lots of friendly people.

This film was good because it was exciting and funny. I think children and families will like this, my Daddy wasn’t looking forward to seeing it but he liked it in the end.

4/5
